The ABB ACH580-01-02A7-6 is a compact HVAC variable frequency drive (VFD) designed for high-efficiency motor control in commercial and industrial building automation systems. Engineered specifically for HVAC applications, the ACH580 platform supports fans, pumps, cooling towers, air handling units, and other variable torque motor loads while reducing energy consumption and simplifying system integration.

The ACH580 series features integrated HVAC application macros, PID control, BACnet and Modbus communication capability, embedded EMC filtering, and ABB’s intuitive assistant control panel for simplified commissioning and operation. Its wall-mounted IP21 / NEMA 1 enclosure design allows installation in standard electrical or mechanical rooms without additional external enclosures in most indoor environments.
