Will this pump work with my factory washer hoses and connectors?

Yes. This pump uses OEM connection points, so your existing hoses and nozzle lines plug straight in without modification or adapters.

Do I need to drain or refill the washer reservoir during installation?

You don't have to, but it's easier to work with an empty or low reservoir. Disconnect the hoses, unbolt the pump from the base, swap in the new unit, and reconnect. A few ounces of spillage is normal.

What if the pump doesn't push fluid after I install it?

Check that all hose connections are tight and seated fully—air leaks kill pressure. If connections are solid and pressure is still weak, the pump may be drawing air from a cracked hose upstream. Inspect hoses for splits before assuming a faulty pump.
