Vintage 1930’s Beautiful Velvet Evening Gown with Bolero in Black with Red.

A gorgeous soft velvet evening gown with wide straps.  Centre ruched bust detail and lovely drape to ling gown. The back has centre hook n eye fastenings within a bias cut panel down the back, which drapes amazingly, giving a fabulous silhouette. 

The bolero, with its great shoulder pads, has amazing detailed  ruching to the shoulders with slight short sleeves and is edge to edge. Fabulous that the bolero is reversible with black on red or visa versa.

Such a statement piece to wow anyone attending a special event, evening on a cruise at the captains table or a dinner party.  Also versatile that the bolero can accompany many other ensembles too.

Good Vintage Condition - flaws to note : slight hole under centre bust due to placement of a dress clip ( another could easily sit there ) and the bolero has slight underarm rubbing stain to one side of the red and an old seam repair. One pinhole to the red side of bolero. 2 x pinholes to the dress. However these certainly do not detract from an amazing dress. Ready for its outing.
