Original vintage 1930s black lace and chiffon midi dress.
This classic little black dress is rich in detail featuring a cross over V neckline trimmed with small covered buttons and draped with fine lace and scalloped edge collar to one side. The sleeves are sheer with fitted cuffs, trimmed again with a scallop and lace and the waist is gently gathered with elastic.
At the back of the dress running from the nape are fine pin tucks and the hem of the skirt is cut with deep panels of matching lace.
A beautiful piece with so much texture.

Condition: good wearable condition, light wear overall with some small holes on the lace as pictured and elastic chanel in waist may have been added at a later date. Dry Cleaned, Steamed and Ready to Wear.
As with most vintage items, this dress has been previously worn and is over 80 years old.
