This kit is a direct bolt-on application designed to maintain optimal engine oil and water temperatures. With an increased engine oil volume, the ideal size of the highly efficient inner-fin design oil cooler core, and a strategic mounting location, this kit offers excellent cooling properties. Depending on the application, the kits are available in standard and oil block relocation layouts for improved clearance and accessibility. Each oil block comes equipped with sensor ports, allowing for easy adaptation to most aftermarket oil pressure and temperature gauges. Using this kit can prolong the life of your oil and, in turn, enhance the longevity of internal engine components, especially in harsh driving environments. Most blocks include a built-in thermostat to regulate the oil temperature, enabling the engine to warm up faster. Custom mounts and brackets are specifically designed for each application, ensuring a high-quality, durable, and efficient setup.

  Oil Temperature controlled by Thermostat:HKS Oil Coolers use high performance cooling cores and so there is the possibility of overcooling which is prevented with the use of a thermostat (some vehicles excluded). This thermostat has high response and so is able to react quickly to changing oil temperatures. Once oil temperature reach the set levels, the oil will flow through the cooler core but bypass it when temperatures drop below.   Thermostat relief feature allows for safe operation in times of emergency:In cases where the core or lines become blocked and oil pressure rises, the thermostat will bypass the core to maintain correct oil pressure and prevent damage to the oil lines and fittings.
