Our 110-Point Horse & Rider Saddle Fit Assessment covers every point - big and small - that can affect saddle performance and fit. Our In-Person Saddle Fitting Assessments include use of the WOW Saddle Gauge to determine your horse's saddle fit, full-length wither tracings, topline tracing, full conformational assessment, musculoskeletal asymmetry identification, and under-saddle & in-hand movement assessments. You and your horse's bodies will be fully catalogued by our trained and Certified WOW Saddle Fitters to ensure proper, correct fit of your saddle. We'll take a highly-precise 3D scan of your horse's back and saddle area during this appointment. Your full appointment will be recorded and available to you via a private Google Drive folder after your appointment. Our Saddle Fit Assessments include demo rides in two custom-made saddles based on the Saddle Gauge results during your appointment. The saddles will be made in our mobile workshop while we take a brief 15 - 30 minute break from your appointment. Your horse will then have the opportunity to try both fits and select his favorite. Once the correct fit has been determined, we'll walk you through selection and design of your new, custom WOW Saddle.

We operate out of the zip code 94505. Travel costs associated with your appointment are as follows:

• First 75 miles are FREE
• $.75 / mile thereafter
• Any other travel costs, such as flights, car rentals, or hotels, will be your responsibility

We will assess the fit of your current saddle at the time of your appointment, and compare and contrast the results from our Saddle Gauge and tracings with your existing saddle's build.

If you currently own a WOW, we'll check that the build is correct for your horse and adjust the panels and headplate for you. We can either swap headplates at no cost, or sell you an additional headplate for $90. Adjustment of your saddle's Flair or Flair MKII Air Flocking Systems is included in the cost of this appointment.

If you have a wool-flocked WOW Saddle, we offer full re-flocking service at an additional cost of $180.

Additionally, we offer back casting services at an additional cost using one of two kits, depending on the facilities available at the time of your appointment. If you would like to take advantage of this service, please let us know when we're scheduling your appointment. We do not otherwise carry these casting kits in our mobile unit. EQUImeasure casts, which require an oven be available, are $300, and SaddleCasts, which do not require pre-heating and are cured by UV light, are $250.

Our In-Person Fitting Service is $250 for customers who will be ordering a new, custom WOW Saddle. Once you've decided to move forward, we'll apply the full cost of this appointment ($250) to the price of your new saddle, making this appointment totally free!

If you would like to take the results of our Assessment and shop for a WOW Saddle elsewhere, the cost of the appointment is $300.

If you would like to have a precision-cut, 3D model of your horse's back made from our 3D scan, the cost is $350. With these models, you can quickly and easily compare your horse's back to its state at the time of the scan, or use the negative model while saddle shopping. Both models can be broken down and stored flat, and both come with custom cases for long-term storage. These options are perfect for young horses, horses in training, and horses going through rehab. We can order these models for you at any time after your appointment.

If you are having a custom-made saddle created by another manufacturer, we can send the results of our 3D scan to them so they can recreate your horse's exact back in their shop using the TOMAX Horse Back Simulator. • Evaluation of your horse's conformation and your body's conformation.
• Video assessments of you in your current saddle that allow us to see your horse's current way of going and establish his baseline behavior under saddle. You will asked to perform a series of movements, including all three gaits in both directions, plus a few jumps (if you're a jumper) at your normal schooling height.
• Use of the WOW Saddle Gauge to determine two potential saddle builds that will work for your horse. Due to the available settings and options on the Saddle Gauge, there are always several combinations that could work for any given animal. Determining multiple builds allows us to build multiple demo saddles that all fit your horse properly, and then allow him to pick his favorite.
• 3-dimensional wither & topline tracing that we will keep on record. If you would like your own copy, we're happy to make a second tracing for you to keep.
• Still photos to analyze your horse's current build and conformation
• We'll discuss any injuries or medical treatments you have undergone. WOW Saddles offer dozens of options to compensate for riders suffering with back pain, hip pain, hip replacement, seat discomfort, and many more common issues.
• Once your horse's saddle builds have been determined, we'll make you two demo saddles for you to try. We'll ask you to send us some photos of your horse standing square before your appointment so we can be sure to bring parts we think he may require. Both saddles will be made by our certified Saddle Fitters in our mobile workshop during your appointment. Total build time varies depending on complexity, but typically takes 15 - 30 minutes.
• Your horse will then try both builds. Your horse will make clear which build he prefers; your Saddle Fitter will be comparing his movement, expression, engagement and demeanor to your first ride in his existing saddle at the start of your appointment.
• Once your horse has picked his favorite build, we'll tackle your wishlist of wants & needs and find a few models at the intersection of what both you and your horse need. Due to their modular build and breadth of options available, there are over 1,981 WOW saddles available; ensuring your new WOW Saddle has exactly what both you and your horse want.

WOW Saddles are perfect for every horse, but suit horses with difficult or challenging conformation best. We frequently fit Iberian or Spanish breeds, which have broad, wide shoulders and low withers, horses with very forward girth grooves, slab-sided horses, herring-gutted horses, and horses with some extra 'flesh'. Sway-backs and horses suffering from lordosis are no problem for a WOW!
