BY CODY Cherub Ring

This ring is a little love letter to my son. It’s inspired by all our adventures around Italy, where he’d always ask about the cherubs we’d spot in the old churches. We found an old wax seal stamp of a cherub on one of our trips, and I used that to create this piece, first carving it in wax, then casting it in solid silver. It’s molten, heavy, and beautiful, just like the memories we made together. This cherub ring is a reminder of those days wandering cobbled streets and small churches in the middle of nowhere in rural Italy. As well as my love I have for him.
