Do I need special tools to install this, or is it a basic socket job?
You'll need the axle nut socket and a way to safely support the vehicle. Check your service manual for torque specs on the axle nut—don't guess on that one. The hub itself bolts to factory mounting points with standard sockets.
What if my ABS sensor doesn't fit the new hub?
Transfer your original ABS sensor ring and sensor from the old hub if they're in good shape. The new hub has the same geometry, so they'll line up the same way. If the sensor or ring is worn or damaged, replace both while you're in there.
Can I reuse the brake rotor and pads, or do I need new ones?
The hub change doesn't force you to replace rotors or pads—it depends on their condition. Inspect both while the wheel's off. If you're at the rotor wear limit or pads are thin, now's the time to freshen them since everything's apart anyway.
