About the Equitana Dressage Flap

Our new addition to the range of dressage flaps is the Equitana, featuring an adjustable fixed block! The Block angle can be adjusted and the position front to back can be moved as well. This means that you can achieve the perfect position of the leg every time with different riders. Inspired by a request from one of WOW's American Retailers, Patricia Cooper. WOW previewed a prototype of this flap at Equitana in Essen, Germany in March 2015 and it was very well received; thus, the Equitana Flap was born!

The stitch pattern for the Equitana is similar to WOW's 'Swirl' pattern, but is unique to the Equitana flap. The addition of a wear strip at the bottom provides a good looking contrast. The flap construction is the same as our padded flaps so we have still kept that superior contact and feel you associate with a WOW.

The Block angle and position front to back can be adjusted (as shown: Low-Thigh / High-Profile Blocks) on the Equitana flap, making this a Movable Fixed Block flap! This means that you can achieve the perfect position of your leg every time with the utility and look of a Fixed Block. Mono-flap.

The Equitana Dressage Flap is available in two styles:

• Padded, Frenched-leather with High-Thigh Blocks
• Padded, Frenched-leather with Low-Thigh Blocks

The Equitana blocks come in four styles:

• High-Thigh / High Profile
• High-Thigh / Low Profile
• Low-Thigh / High Profile
• Low-Thigh / Low Profile

Under-Flap Knee Rolls - or UFKRs - are available for this flap as well, if wanted/needed.

Complete WOW Saddles

If having a fully-modular saddle is important to you and customizing it to your exact personal style and tastes is not important to you but you still want your saddle to be a little 'dressed up', the Signature Competitor line is a great mid-level range of WOW's modular saddles. The Standard Competitor line is one step down whilst still retaining full modularity, but the saddles feature a simpler design aesthetic than the Signatures. If customization is important to you, consider building your own custom WOW Saddle, or stepping back a few levels to WOW's DMK line, which allows limited customization options in exchange for not being fully modular.

Please expect a wait time of 6 - 12 weeks for delivery, depending on current Production Lead Time.
