Description:
You don't have to suffer constant carburetor issues in your hot rod or race car anymore. K&N Electronic Carburetor Injection (ECI) are self-tuning bolt-on systems that add a supplemental fuel source to optimize engine performance. And, since they are supplemental systems, you can tap into your current fuel supply and there is no need to run a return line back to your fuel tank. Users have the option to set detailed parameters, including their desired air-to-fuel ratio, injector pulse width, shot volume, progressive injector firing, and minimum/maximum rpm range.

The brain of K&N's ECI systems is the ECU, which vigilantly monitors the input from the oxygen sensor to ensure an optimal air-to-fuel ratio is maintained. If the system detects an AFR higher than the user-defined limit, the injector will fire. Unlike a typical electronic fuel injection system, the ECI works cooperatively with your existing carburetor, supporting the fuel flow rates that high-horsepower vehicles require to operate efficiently. If your engine is performing lean, K&N's ECI systems will help make up for the fuel deficit.
