Vintage 1940's Early CC41 woollen dress in a bright raspberry red. This is such a stunning example from its time and a great piece of British wartime fashion history. This piece has an early utility cc41 label to the nape of its neck and features the early number of 210E. It has a classic 40s silhouette and features a full length sleeve, 3 button bodice fastening, keyhole neckline with hook and eye fastening, lovely gathered detailing to the yoke panel, dropped front pleats to the skirt which falls to the hemline. The skirt has a lot of movement in it, great for dancing. The garment has small built in shoulder pads which emphasise the fabulous silhouette. Please see condition report below. 

A fabulous piece of wartime fashion history, a must have addition for any 1940's wearer or cc41 collector. A lovely treat to yourself, friend or loved one.

Fair Vintage Condition, flaws to note - Some nibbles and holes to this dress hidden in the pleats. Some of these have been previously darned some could be repaired if desired. The flaws are expected due to the wool material of this piece. It presents beautifully and is ready to wear.
