DETAILS: This sleeveless shirt waist dress is perfect for summer wear, breezy and comfortable. The bodice is fitted with vertical and horizontal darts - it is styled with a fly-out collar and a front placket turned on the diagonal to show off the plaid. There is a back yoke with a single box pleat for extra ease. The skirt is fairly straight - it inserts into the front waist with a trio of soft pleats on either side.

FABRIC/COLORS: This is a very cute novelty plaid, primarily using white with subtle shades of green, lavender (might be pale pink) with more vivid aqua. But it is set off beautifully with thicker threads of dot & dash royal blue and white - see closeup. The fabric itself is light weight with a slightly crisp feel - I believe that it is cotton.

CLOSURES: There is a front placket that closes with three pearly plastic bluish gray buttons down the bodice, with snaps for the waist and lower placket. There are belt loops but no belt - a belt from my closet may be seen in some photos - it is not included with purchase.

CONDITION: On my third inspection, I noticed a subtle light brown stain near the hem near the left side seam - see closeup. It did not come out in the wash. No other stains, holes, tears or other issues noted.
