Vintage 20’s/30’s maybe earlier amazing hat in purple flock velvet and felt. Stiffened felt brim with upturned side where it is adorned with a few felt flowers and petals, such a lovely detail.  The crown is almost translucent in a purple flock velvet brocade with the background having a shimmer ( lame’  effect). Fulled lined. A felt band around the base of the crown joins and makes a delicate bow detail to the back, where the brim falls into a tear drop shape.  All edges have been neatly finished with a slightly deeper shade, which compliments the overall look. stamped maker label in the centre of lining to the crown. English made. 
A fabulous earlier hat of highest quality and being a truly lovely purple colour. 
An amazing hat, a very special piece of history for oneself or a Vintage hat collector or worthy of a true Miliner/ museum collection.

 Very Good Vintage Condition - flaws to note : slight marks to the tear drop end of bow and brim, these may disperse or lift with a further steaming, but certainly doesn’t detract. Such a fabulous piece of history and ready to enjoy.
