Brand	Jan Sandesh is a NGO or charitable association involved in providing proper training, employment and honorarium to needy women and young girls. Located in North-east Delhi at New Seema Puri, the NGO is primarily looking after the females of the surrounding arrears who are either locals or migrated from the different states of the country. New Seema Puri is basically classified as urban slum that is occupied a large number of rural people where males are primary earning members in the family while women in the house are working somewhere on part-time basis. Jan Sandesh allows these women to work for the NGO to earn some income by making petty things like craft items from the waste materials using paper cuttings, plastic bags, scrap materials and newspapers etc. Presently, Jan Sandesh is managed by a team of seven members including Shanti Paswan as the secretary of the organization supervising all the daily matters of the NGO. One other member is also actively taking care of the production business. The items made by the women under NGO supervision are all marketed and sold through different channels in order to get some money as the income for these women as well as to run the NGO effectively. This is the way through which Jan Sandesh is fulfilling its mission to provide a sustainable life to needful women and their families.
