八珍汤 Ba Zhen Tang, or Eight Treasure Decoction, is a natural Chinese medicine popular for treating individuals with moderate to low stamina, who easily feel fatigued, tend to have cold extremities, reduced or excessive urine output, and excessive thirst. Known as Hachimi Jio in Japan, it is also popular in the practice of Japanese kanpo or herbal medicine.

• Itching, difficulty urinating, sensation of incomplete urination, frequent urination at night

Dosage and Administration
Take the following amount before meals or between meals with water or lukewarm water:

• Adults (15 years and older):
  4 tablets, 3 times a day

• Children 7 to 15 years:
  3 tablets, 3 times a day

• Children under 7 years:
  Do not use

• Ba Zhen Tang Extract (half amount): 2.30g

Corresponding to the following herbs:

• Rehmannia: 2.5g

  • Function: Tonifies the kidney Yin and nourishes the blood. It's used to support kidney function, help with fluid balance, and combat fatigue or weakness.

• Cornus: 1.5g

  • Function: Strengthens the kidneys and helps with urinary issues, including frequent urination and incontinence. It also tonifies the Yin and helps with general vitality.

• Poria: 1.5g

  • Function: Strengthens the spleen and helps with fluid metabolism. It reduces edema (swelling) and supports digestion, making it useful for symptoms like bloating or retention of water.

• Atractylodes: 1.5g

  • Function: Strengthens the spleen and stomach, promoting energy and reducing bloating or indigestion. It is often used to help the body absorb nutrients more effectively.

• Peony: 1.5g

  • Function: Regulates liver Qi and nourishes blood. It also helps with pain and discomfort, such as cramps or muscle tension (e.g., for conditions like leg pain or lower back pain).

• Cinnamon: 0.5g

  • Function: Warms the kidneys and Yang energy, helping to combat coldness in the body. It also promotes blood circulation and helps alleviate pain from conditions like numbness or soreness.

• Bupleurum: 0.5g

  • Function: Helps with liver Qi stagnation and balances the emotional state. It's often used to relieve stress-related symptoms like headaches or irritability.
