These arrive bare steel and will show surface rust if left exposed. Plan to prime and paint before mounting, or seal them immediately after install to prevent oxidation. A coat of black enamel or truck bed coating works well for long-term protection.

What hardware do I need to bolt these on?

The bolts and mounting brackets are not included with this kit. You'll need to source fasteners that match your truck's factory attachment points — your service manual or a dealer parts diagram will specify the size. Most Crew Cabs use standard metric bolts in the rocker area.

Can I install these myself with basic tools?

Installation is straightforward if you have a socket set and jack. Lift the truck slightly, position the bar, and bolt it down at factory points — no drilling or welding required. Plan 30–45 minutes per side if you're working alone.
