This dress is made in handwoven cotton fabric. It is a strap dress with deep U neckline with detailed hand embroidered coral motifs on the bodice area, using intricate sujani & kantha embroidery techniques. It has nicely crafted knife pleats on the waist area with a broader hemline. This collection is an assorted range of textiles & handspun fabrics sourced from Banaras, Islampur, Murshidabad & quaint villages of India. The inspiration for the embellishments & embroideries has been derived from the artist Huguette Caland and her work over the years. Intricate crafts like sujani & kantha are the key embroidery techniques been used.
