Product Overview

Unlike string inverters, which track the power output of an entire array collectively, the VMI600 tracks each panel individually. Shading, soiling, or degradation on one panel does not reduce the output of the entire string, improving overall system yield in real-world conditions.

The integrated Wi-Fi allows each inverter to be monitored independently without a separate data gateway or hub. The VMI600 uses GaN MOSFET technology with no electrolytic capacitors or cooling fans, reducing wear components and supporting a long service life. High-frequency transformer design provides electrical isolation between the PV input and the AC output.

Installation and Safety Notes

This inverter must be installed by a qualified electrician or MCS-accredited solar installer. G98 notification to the DNO is required before connection. This inverter requires a live grid connection to operate and will not function off-grid or in parallel with off-grid inverters.
