This is a superb early '66 Ampeg B-15NF. This was point when Jess not just realised the mistake of using a solid state rectifier in the previous iteraction but improved on the valve rectifier with the 5AR4, eking out another 5 Watts from the circuit. This was the pinacle of the B-15 circuit.
The circuit is original, some of the cosmetics are replacements, the handle & grille cloth and a good Eminence speakers. Just serviced we removed the death cap, fixed a grounding issue and replaced a couple of 6SL7s. Now sounding as good as ever.
Needs a stepdown transformer to operate at UK voltages.
