INDICATIONS:

• Surface Preparation: always apply GS Hypo Cement to clean, dry surfaces. If oil or cleaning solution has been used prior to assembly, clean with water to make sure that no residue remains;
• Setting Time: the cement gets tacky after about 10-20 seconds. When tacky, begin assembly. Dries after about one hour. May take up to 24 hours to dry completely. Time may vary based on humidity;
• Solubility: GS Hypo Cement can be dissolved by isopropyl/rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover or acetone. Clean excess with a cotton-tipped applicator.
• Storage: place cap wire in applicator when not in use to stop the flow of cement. Always clean the precision applicator and tube neck with acetone, nail polish remover or rubbing alcohol before closing the cap. This will prevent drops of cement from sealing the cap to the tube. To close, carefully lay the applicator flat against your finger to help guide the cap wire into the precision applicator. Store GS Hypo Cement at room temperature. Do not refrigerate, freeze or store in direct sunlight.

HOW TO USE:

1. To apply a fine line of cement, gently move the applicator along the surface;
2. To avoid waste, press the tube gently until cement starts flowing, then ease up; 
3. Flatten the tube as it is used. Do not roll, twist or bend as this may cause the tube to crack;
4. Do not press down on the applicator when applying cement, as pressure can cause the precision applicator to become dislodged.

The cement tends to keep flowing out of the applicator once it starts. If you don’t have time to place the cap wire into the precision applicator after use, keep an empty, small bottle (like a spice bottle) in your work area, along with a small piece of sponge soaked in rubbing alcohol.

After using the cement, set the tube “neck up” in the spice bottle and place the wet sponge over the precision applicator point. This will stop the flow of cement and keep the applicator clean and ready for its next use. 

Reposition cap wire when finished.
