Shopping security
The WI3054JFW is the rear wheel that runs on every Walmart Supercenter and Neighborhood Market shopping cart. Unlike the front swivel caster (the H36C154CLDE), the rear wheel is fixed, and it runs a friction bearing instead of a standard ball bearing. That bearing system is what stops Walmart fleet carts from rolling away on their own when parked on a sloped parking lot or a corral ramp.
If you have replaced rear cart wheels with the wrong free-rolling ball-bearing wheel and seen carts drift across your parking lot, this is the wheel you should have ordered. The friction bearing creates just enough rolling resistance to hold the cart in place when stationary, while still rolling smoothly under shopper load.
One Walmart cart needs two rear wheels (one each side). For a typical 100-cart store, plan on ordering 200 rear wheels for a full fleet replacement, plus 10 to 20 spares for ongoing maintenance. Multi-store Walmart franchise groups managing 5+ stores qualify for tier pricing and NET-30 terms. See the fleet program or call 844-439-4335.
