Lighting coals with it

• Set the metal grid on the coil.
• Arrange coconut cubes or sticks across the grid — don't overload it.
• Power on. Flip the coals once at the halfway mark for even ignition.
• They're done when fully ashed and glowing red on every face — usually 8–12 minutes.
• Use the included tongs to move them to your bowl or HMD.

Care & storage

• Cool fully before touching it.
• Dry cloth on the coil and grid to clear ash — never water.
• Don't immerse the unit in liquid.
• Store dry. Eyeball the cable and plug for damage before each use.

Will it light quick-light coals?

It's designed for natural coconut charcoal. Quick-light coals contain accelerants and don't need an electric burner — a lighter does the job. We don't recommend lighting them on this unit.

Is the AU adapter actually included?

Yes. The unit ships with a UK plug, but the box always contains the AU adapter — confirmed on every unit we ship from our Melbourne store.
