This small, solid copper Tibetan yak bell is suspended on to twine.

In Tibet, the bells are worn by yaks in the fields, supposedly to make noise and scare away wolves, as well as to be found by their owners should they stray afar from their group.

All are hand forged and unique, some with interesting, rustic decoration. This one has the Om mantra around the side and around the top.

The bell produces a great crisp and clear sound.
