This is an incredible find in its original box dated back from the Victorian era. This stunning Bracelet features an exquisite cameo with the statuesque profile of Demeter, Goddess of the earth, grain & the vegetation.
The cameo comes off from both sides of the bracelet, originally probably used as a brooch as well. It is hallmarked with the stamp A-3 and the maker‘s initial GP. It was professionally tested for 18k gold. It is in very good condition, the back of the shell cameo shows some sign of wear, due of age. The bracelet is from 1860-1880.
