Quinta Da Silveira is a historic winery nestled in the heart of the Douro Valley. The winery has been in the same family for generations, and they continue to blend tradition with innovation to produce exceptional wines. 

This white wine from Doura had our nerd brains tingling here at the Chilled and Tannin headquarters.  With a blend of Viosinho, Rabigato, Gouveio, and Arinto, it was unlike any wine we had tasted before. It is crisp and clean, with a symphony of flavours of citrus fruits, green apple, and a hint of tropical pineapple.  It also has fresh acidity and a mineral finish making a white wine with a lot of finesse. This would be the perfect companion for seafood or a light salad.

This wine is made from grapes sourced from old vines, adding depth and complexity to the wine. The winemaking process includes traditional methods like foot-trodding and fermentation in open tanks, ensuring the wine retains its authentic character. Its fair to say that a lot of care and attention has gone into its making!
