Here I present my 'Eye of Amethyst' pendant. The amethyst is a beautiful pale pink pear shape and weighs 6.7 carats & is perfectly eye clean. It's set in a hand fabricated double gallery prong setting surrounded by a custom frame. The chain connectors are made of 9 carat gold filled wire to add interest. The 'eye' frame was made by bending 2mm square wire and then melting the tail with a torch to get the 'ball' affect. Quite a tricky thing to do. The making of the double gallery was both a challenge and complex.
