Jelly Bean Tetra (Ladegasia roloffi) is a tiny and rarely seen West African tetra — one of very few non-Hyphessobrycon, non-Hemigrammus small tetras in the hobby, belonging to its own genus Ladegasia. The pale somewhat rounded body with subtle markings inspired the candy-themed name. Named for E. Roloff.

Feeding & Care Tip: Hikari Micro Pellets (crushed or soaked) and Sera Vipan Baby make excellent daily staples. Supplement 2–3× per week with Hikari Frozen or Freeze-Dried Baby Brine Shrimp and Hikari Frozen Daphnia. Feed small amounts 2–3 times daily in a calm environment.

Native to West Africa — rivers of Sierra Leone and Guinea. Soft water from coastal West African streams.

Keep in groups of at least 8. A genuinely rare find — West African nano tetras are extremely uncommon in the hobby.

One of very few West African nano tetras — rarity and unique genus make it a genuine collector's find.
