A clean, functional and timeless example of Swiss modernist lighting design.
This double globe wall light features thick hand-crafted crackle (ice) glass shades, creating a delicate fractured texture that diffuses the light beautifully when illuminated. Each globe has a unique pattern, making every piece slightly different.
The painted welded steel bracket follows a strict Bauhaus-inspired geometry: floating spheres, clean lines and rational proportions. A highly characteristic look of 1960s–70s Swiss institutional and functionalist design.
Swiss provenance. Stylistically related to lighting distributed by Max Bietenholz during the period.
Works perfectly in minimalist, modern, japandi or gallery-like interiors – both sculptural and atmospheric.
