I'm guessing this wonderfully graphic vintage porcelain enamel plaque was a functional sign at some point, but it reads like a minimalist/modernist painting now. And with a hole just on one short side, I have to read it as a "I"--and so a perfect signifier now for oneself! A very satisfying thing, great in all sorts of contexts.

12 x 5 1/16 and in very good condition, with a little enamel loss along the edges as documented. Mid 20th c. or so, I believe. What looks like yellow in photos is a bit closer to orange in hand, all to the good.
