Exoracing Dress Up Bolt Kit Installation Guide:

Following the instructions below makes installing our Exoracing dress-up bolt and washer kits simple. If you are unsure about any of the steps listed below, please get in touch with a mechanic who can assist you.

1. Find the bolt you want to replace in your engine bay and remove it. Be careful if it's rusted, as there is a potential to snap the bolt, which you don't want!
2. Next, we always recommend running a tap through the hole to ensure the thread is the best it can be and for the longest-lasting finish from the kit.
3. Put one supplied washer over the hole with the logo facing upwards, and place the countersunk bolt in the centre.
4. Get the correct Allen key or Allen-headed socket and thread the bolt in until it's tight, making sure not to overtighten.
5. You're all done! Remember to tag us in any photos on social media, as we would love to see the dress-up washer kit installed in your engine bay.

• If your OEM bolts or engine bay threads are rusty, it would be worth tapping through the threads to ensure the perfect finish.
• Do not overtighten the stainless bolt; you could strip the thread or round the Allen key hole.
• Ensure that acidic engine bay cleaners are not used, as this can affect the anodising.
