The new Shimano BR-C6000 brakes have a 30 kg heavier load capacity (max. 130 kg) than the old model, making them perfect for use on e-bikes. They offer excellent controllability thanks to their improved linear braking characteristics. The large cooling disc ensures the roller brake maintains its braking power even under heavy use, on heavily loaded or heavy e-bikes. (It is, however, not recommended for cycling in mountains or hills with long or steep descents.)

The sleek housing with its slim design ensures it fits any bike. Easy to maintain and low-maintenance, the sealed housing prevents water and dirt from reaching the brake mechanism. A once-a-year lubrication with roller brake grease is usually sufficient. This makes the Nexus BR-C6000 an ideal brake for any city bike or electric bike.
