In a care room, the challenge is not just lifting the resident. The patient lift also needs to get close enough to the bed, wheelchair, chair, or commode without fighting furniture legs or tight spaces. The CostCare L400C Electric Patient Lift helps with that by using a low 4.5" base clearance and an adjustable base that opens to 40" and closes to 25".
The hand pendant raises and lowers the boom electrically, so caregivers do not have to rely on manual pumping during routine transfers. Its 17.8" to 67" sling hook range gives room for lower and higher transfer positions.
The L400C also uses a rechargeable 24V battery, with the manual listing approximately 100-200 lift cycles per charge depending on load and stroke.
The L400C patient transfer lift is designed to help move a resident safely between surfaces such as from a bed to a chair—not for transporting them across a room like a wheelchair.
