Birupes simoroxigorum (Bornean neon blue-legged tarantula) 0.75"This is a small, fossorial species endemic to the Malaysian state of Sarawak in Borneo. Described in 2019, they were previously known as Selenocosmiinae sp. biru within the hobby before their formal description. They have been highly sought after since their introduction into the hobby due to their impressive coloration when young. However, mature individuals lose the vibrant blue coloration and instead possess uniformly black legs.
