• Tea Leaves: 6-8g (1.5 tsp)

• Gaiwan or Yixing Clay Teapot

• Water Temperature: 90-95°C (194-203°F)

• Water-to-Tea Ratio: 1g of tea per 15ml of water

• Brewing Time & Infusions:

  1. Rinse: Quickly rinse the leaves with hot water (2-3 sec) to awaken the aroma

  2. First steep: 10-15 seconds

  3. Second steep: 15-20 seconds

  4. Third steep: 20-30 seconds

  5. Increase the steeping time slightly with each additional infusion (up to 7-10 brews)

• Teapot or Infuser
