It handles thick grass, brush, and even small saplings — up to 2" in diameter — delivering a smooth, even cut across uneven terrain thanks to its floating top link and balanced rotor.
With a sturdy 8-gauge reinforced deck, heavy-duty spring steel blades, and a slip-clutch protected PTO driveline, the Tornado RMD offers dependable durability and safety under demanding use.

Medium-Duty Capacity (35-80 HP)
Designed for tractors with 35–80 HP, making it an excellent match for mid-size farming or land-management equipment.
Robust Blade & Deck Construction
Features two heavy-duty 1/2″×4″ spring steel blades mounted on a balanced carbon-steel rotor, protected by an oval stump jumper — ideal for cutting thick grass, brush, or saplings up to 2″ diameter. The reinforced 8-gauge deck adds structural strength for long-term use.
Adjustable Cutting Height
Cutting heights can be set between 1″ and 9¼″ — giving flexibility whether you want a low mow or to clear heavier overgrowth.
Slip-Clutch-Protected PTO Driveline
Includes a 1 3/8″ ASAE Category 4 driveline with slip-clutch safety to protect the tractor and cutter from overloads — important for rugged terrain or when hitting unexpected obstacles.
Terrain-Adaptive Floating Deck & Tail Wheel
The floating top link allows the deck to follow ground contours for a consistent cut, while a laminated tailwheel with tapered roller bearings ensures stability and smooth maneuverability over uneven ground.
Safety Shields & Replaceable Skids
Front and rear protective chain shields come standard, along with replaceable side skids — helping protect the cutter and tractor while extending service life.
