Six decades since the very first Oris dive watch was introduced in 1965, this new Divers Date retains all the playful creativity and design decadence of the original and its beloved successors, but now comes freshly upgraded with a more modern aesthetic while still being grounded by the style and spirit of the 1960s, and the same familiar mission: to make people smile. 

Now built around a 39mm stainless steel case, the Divers Date has been updated with a more mature profile which doubles its water resistance, going from 100 to 200 meters, and makes this new reference more suited to modern recreational diving, the sport that inspired the original. The edge of the uni-directional rotating diving bezel has also been upgraded to offer more grip and robustness, while the insert is now scratch and fade-resistant ceramic.

The dial has been delicately improved as well, with newly beveled hour markers; a subtle, almost imperceptible tweak that increases legibility. The condensed typeface used on the dial has been developed exclusively for the new Divers collection to give it a commanding presence, while still capturing its beloved retro spirit.

Lastly, the stainless steel bracelet has also been gently refined and now has a quick-change system so it can be easily swapped out for the included rubber strap, ensuring readiness for any adventure. And despite the increase in water resistance, the Divers Date now has an exhibition caseback, through which the Oris Calibre 733 automatic with its signature red rotor may now be viewed.
