The prospect of the world opening up again, combined with it being on the cusp of spring, has me thinking about gathering with people again (and pitchers of margaritas!) And having grown up surrounded by stoneware pottery of this ilk, this pitcher, to me, feels like the 70s-style hospitality.
Handthrown and stamped Weaver ME Kiln Works on the underside, which is a pottery studio in Gouldsboro, ME, run by Dan Weaver, who has been making functional ceramics for 50 years. Excellent condition. Feels great in the hand and large enough to to serve cocktails, or whatever, to a group. 8 1/4" t x 5 3/16" in diameter; 6 1/2" across at handle; 3 7/8" across at base.
