The Ergodyne Chill-Its® 6660 Hard Hat Brim with Neck Shade is a patented sun protection accessory designed to attach to virtually any hard hat — providing complete coverage of the face and back of neck in environments where natural shade is absent. The elastic inner rim plus a patented hook and loop attachment system secures the brim firmly to the hard hat suspension for a stable, wobble-free fit throughout the workday. A durable plastic ring reinforces the brim to maintain its shape and ensure consistent sun coverage in windy or high-activity conditions. The wide 3.25" brim blocks the sun from the face, while the extended 9.75" x 19.5" neck shade panel provides complete coverage of the back of the neck — significantly reducing the risk of sunburn and long-term sun-related skin damage. Constructed from 100% lightweight polyester, this brim adds virtually no weight to the hard hat and does not increase fatigue or interfere with balance.
