Uses and Benefits of PREempt High Level Disinfectant and Sterilant

PREempt High Level Disinfectant and Sterilant is a fast, responsible, and highly effective disinfectant cleaner. This disinfectant and sterilant by PREempt is a high-level cleaner strong enough to be used on medical devices and instruments, which also makes it great for non-critical instruments, devices, and tools.

PREempt HLD5 is an effective disinfectant for spas, medi-spas, therapeutic clinics, and tattoo parlours. Great for use on non critical, semi critical, and critical devices. Anything from dental tools, and surgical mirrors, to nail clippers and hair scissors.

Directions for Use

Follow specific disinfection directions depending on the disinfection and sterilization needs for each instrument.

Before Use

• Ensure that the instrument, equipment, or device material to be disinfected is compatible
• Compatible materials include acrylic, silicone rubber, high-density plastics, and stainless steel
• Not compatible with copper, brass, carbon tipped devices, and anodized aluminum

High Level Disinfection

• Place pre-cleaned, rinsed and dried medical devices and instruments in solution of undiluted PREempt HLD5
• Allow devices to soak for at least 5 minutes
• Remove and rinse with sterile water, or potable tap water

Sterilization

• Place pre-cleaned, rinsed and dried medical devices and instruments in solution of undiluted PREempt HLD5
• Allow devices to soak for at least 6 hours
• Remove and rinse with sterile water

Reuse Period of Disinfection

• The use-life of this product can be verified by using a 2% AHP test strip.
• PREempt HLD5 solution may be used and reused for up to a MAXIMUM of 14 days provided a 2% AHP test strip indicates a pass according to the instructions.
