You know I love all things early kindergarten, and early Milton Bradley, too. Late 19th century, two of these boxes once held blocks that comprised Froebel's "Gift 6" (thirty-six wood blocks of three sizes), while the long box contained Gift #1, a set of six knitted balls, each is a single solid color.  Though empty now, they remain beautiful and iconic feeling boxes with the paper labels still well attached, and they still feel all about possibility to me. Useful for all sorts of things.

Square(ish) boxes measures 3 7/8" x 3 7/8" x 3 5/8" t. Long box (Gift #1) measures 11" x 2 5/8" x 2 1/4". All in very good antique condition.
