Apple announced a new 14-inch MacBook Pro in October 2021, equipped with the new Apple silicon chips. This release reintroduced hard function keys in place of the Touch Bar, a HDMI port, a SDXC reader and MagSafe charging. Other additions include a Liquid Retina XDR display with thinner bezels and an iPhone-like notch. This model features the top of the range M1 Max 10-core processor.
