VOTED THE BEST ROSÉ IN WALES 2023

If the same old boring pink wines have got you ruffling your feathers then this super limited Welsh vino will leave you squawking for more!

We’re lucky to have an allocation of Lucy and Dan Alford's second vintage of this terrific low-intervention creation which recently bagged the accolade of best rosé in the Welsh Wine Awards.

The name - and fetching label - pay homage to the blackbirds and badgers who snaffled the majority of the grapes from the vineyard’s 2021 vintage, leaving them with only 130 bottles.

Thankfully the 2023 harvest escaped unscathed allowing the couple to make this rosé, which is a blend of Pinot Noir and Seyval Blanc from their 20 year old vineyard in Pen-y-Clawdd.

And we absolutely love the illustration on the label which is by local artist Dan Bright!
