The ACU (Army Combat Uniform) trouser (or ACU pant) is worn with a two-inch nylon web belt. For combat purposes, each knee has hook & loop pouches for inserting padding to improve the resilience of the trouser. Storage includes two slash pockets, two forward-tilted cargo pockets, two lower leg pockets, and two rear buttoned pockets. The cargo and lower leg pockets feature hook & loop closures for quick access while on the move.
