AJA HA5 HDMI 2.0 to 12G-SDI Converter

The AJA HA5 brings HDMI 2.0 sources into professional 12G-SDI infrastructure over a single link, converting up to 4K and UltraHD signals at 60p for broadcast, production, and integration environments. It suits facilities and mobile setups that need to feed devices with HDMI outputs directly into SDI routing, recording, or monitoring pipelines without giving up resolution or frame rate.

The HDMI v2.0b input accepts YCbCr 4:2:2, 4:4:4, and 4:2:0 as well as RGB 4:4:4 at 24, 30, or 36 bits per pixel, with 4K 4096x2160 and UltraHD 3840x2160 supported up to 60 fps. An HDR Infoframe decoder per CTA-861.3 works alongside HDR VPID generation with pass-through or override, and the 12G-SDI BNC output follows SMPTE 259/292/424/2081/2082 at 10-bit or 12-bit.
