Vintage 1976 Gerry Andersons Space 1999 Charlton Press Xerox Book Club Edition Illustrated Paperback - Based On The TV Series - Very Good Condition, Very Rare Item. Released in 1976 by Charlton press during Space 1999's first season on television. This fantastic Space 1999 Book Club Edition Paperback book features early adventures from Moonbase Alpha, including the explosion that knocked the moon out of the Earths Orbit and sent it on its way through the Galaxy. Each page contains a black and white illustration in similar style to the bronze age of comics. Contains eight separate stories.  The book is in Very good condition over all, which is amazing considering it is now nearly 50 year old. The front and back covers are clean and bright with only minor signs of wear which are mainly along the edges, but does have a small stain in the bottom corner. The spline is also in very good condition, again with only some very minor signs of wear along the edges. Internally the book is in very good condition, all pages are present and attached they are clean and bright without any damage or on any page other than some minor signs of tanning along the edge tips and a small stain inside the front cover.
