I've always got an eye out for beautiful 19th c. carved bone alphabets, which as I understand it were used in school as tools for teaching spelling. And certainly one could make a game of it now to see how many words one can spell with these 26 letters! A complete set, of more or less the same size, which I found box-less (as is usually the case) but have placed in a nice old small handmade slide top box that seems a perfect fit and will keep them safe and sound.

Letters measure approx. 9/16” t . Box measures 2 1/2" x 2 1/4" x 1 1/4". Complete with no losses, all in very good condition.
