The Bounty Hunter Discovery 2200 is built for hobbyists ready to move beyond basic beginner-level gear. Designed for coin shooting, relic hunting, jewelry hunting, and general treasure hunting, it combines intuitive operation with useful target information, including a large digital LCD display, probable target ID, depth indication, 4-tone audio feedback, adjustable discrimination, Notch and Zap controls, sensitivity adjustment, preset ground balance, and an 8" waterproof searchcoil.
The Discovery 2200 uses four audio tones — bass, low, medium, and high — to help identify different types of metal while you hunt. This makes it easier to evaluate targets without constantly watching the display.
The large LCD display shows probable target ID and depth information, helping you quickly decide when to dig and when to keep moving.
Adjustable discrimination helps reduce unwanted targets. Notch control lets you reject selected target ranges, while Zap helps eliminate the most recently detected unwanted target category.
Preset ground balance keeps operation simple and helps reduce ground mineral response in common hunting conditions, making the Discovery 2200 easy to use without manual ground balance setup.
The built-in depth indicator helps estimate how deep a target may be before you dig. This is especially useful for coin shooting and for learning how different targets respond at different depths.
Squelch-Tech® circuitry helps reduce false signals in challenging conditions, giving you a smoother detecting experience and more confidence in repeatable target responses.
The included 8" waterproof open-face searchcoil provides dependable coverage for parks, fields, yards, damp grass, and shallow coil-depth water use. The searchcoil is waterproof, but the control box should be kept dry.
The ergonomic S-rod handle, padded armrest, and adjustable shaft make the Discovery 2200 comfortable for extended detecting sessions.
Bass, low, medium, and high tones help identify target types by sound.
Large LCD screen shows probable target ID and useful hunting information.
Visual depth feedback helps estimate how deep a target may be before digging.
Helps eliminate selected unwanted target ranges while keeping desirable targets.
8" waterproof searchcoil is useful for damp grass and shallow coil-depth water use.
Helps reduce false signals in challenging ground conditions.
Standard 1/4" headphone jack works with compatible wired headphones.
Runs on two 9V batteries with approximately 20 to 25 hours of runtime.
A strong choice for hobbyists ready for more information and control than basic starter models.
