There are definitely a good number of old folk art Dutch girls and boys out there, but I've never seen one with a surface nearly as great as this. It seems maybe a mix of paint and crayon and varnish and I'm not sure what all, but coming together now just right. Two hooks at bottom, I guess once used to hang keys, but which are now a bit deformed/twisted, so really she's just her own thing. There is a hole at the center of her hat via which one could hang her, or string a wire or ribbon and turn her into a large xmas tree ornament!

9 1/4" t x 6 3/4" w x 1/4" thick, sound and stable. Green painted on reverse.
