This is a lovely and unusual Victorian 18k Gold, Onyx & Pearls Shield Locket Pendant. The front with the seeds natural pearls old mongrams says IMO (in memory of), the back has two loops to slide through a chain and a glass back locket that it can be open to put a photo or a memento. This is a striking piece with the gold, a gorgeous contrast with the black of the onyx and the white of the pearls, in a shield shape, symbol of protection. It is unique and unusua
