We plugged this into an old Vox cab and what came out was the most 60s British sound you could ever dream of. Manufactured round the corner in Shoreditch, Elpico made bits & bob of electrical equipment, tape deck, amps, PAs, etc. I'm not going to mention the Beatles connnection. This is a PA head. It's very, very rare. People who want an early Marshall sound use these amps to achieve this at a tiny fraction of the cost. We change a couple of leaking caps and a valve. We didn't completely re-cap it, it didn't need it and we thought it was a decision best left to the next owner who may like their Elpicos unaltered. If you like British amps this is a steal.
